Introducing elements WALKS

Utilising its prime location elements now offers our packed lunch and complimentary pick up service throughout the year + informative unintimidating accompanied coastal walks with David Jackson every other month.

Step outside our front door and onto this fabulous stretch of coastline.

Part of the appeal on both of our walks is that you can decide en-route how far you wish to go- depending on your limbs on that particular day, and then just call us for your lift home!

Of course the Sauna should be used to reward those limbs and joints. And one of the additional little gems is that you won't need to leave elements to find a place to eat for your evening meal. Fill yourselves up after a hard days exertion from our delicious Italian menu and celebrate your walking 'achievement' in our lovely bar and restaurant.

Accompanied walks are available by experienced trekker and all round knowledgeable man David Jackson (and 'Mia' the golden retriever) who can tell you in detail about the many geographical features and the wildlife along the route- these will be bi-monthly from March-October (dates will be posted on 'whats occurring page').

Packed lunches (charged accordingly) and pick ups (complimentary) are available throughout the year.

Come and walk independently or as part of a group and see how invigorated you can feel after just a couple of days on the wild and rugged North Cornish coast.

Day 1 Crackington Haven

Elements-Crackington Haven = 7.8 miles approx 3.5 hrs

Crackington-Boscastle = 6.7 hrs approx 3 hrs

Description Walk South to Crackington Haven armed with a delicious packed lunch. This route takes in some incredible history and geology. The coast path winds through ancient oak woodland and gives spectacular views both up and down the North Cornish coast.

Upon arrival at Crackington Haven- a dramatically beautiful cove approached by a high descent from Penkenna Cliff you can decide if you wish us to collect you from here. Or perhaps after refreshment at the Cabin or Haven Cafe or even more 'rewarding' something in the Coombe Barton Inn you may wish to continue the additional 6.7 miles to finish your walk in Boscastle. This walk takes in the Highest Cliff in Cornwall and offers views of spectacular wildlife including Peregrine Falcons, seal colonies and varying hill gradients!

At Boscastle the Cobweb or Wellington Inn will keep you sheltered until we arrive to pick you up and take you 'home' to elements.

Day 2 Stanbury Mouth

Elements-Stanbury Mouth = 6.3miles approx 3hrs

Stanbury Mouth - Morwenstow = 4 miles approx 2 hrs

Description If day 1 simply wet your appetite... Step outside after a hearty breakfast and this time turn right out of the gate taking you north on the coast path to Stanbury mouth where again you have an option if the weather's being unkind to you or the previous day is taking its toll or you simply fancy an early Sauna, some R&R or a rewarding cream tea back at elements we will collect you from here.

Not wishing to make anyone feel guilty. For the extra energetic among you, you can take the next section of dramatic scenery and complete your walk at Morwenstow taking in the infamous Hawkers Hut and the changing coastal landscape. On arrival at Morwenstow take sanctuary in the historic beautifully located church or alternatively rest your legs in The Bush Inn while you await your lift back 'home' to elements.
