Introducing elements TRAIN

Welcome to Bude, Cornwall's rugged adventure playground

Whether you just love the great outdoors, fancy some exercise on one of the most beautiful coastlines in Europe or are training for a TRIATHLON, Bude will inspire you to TRAIN.

At elements we are surrounded by an incredible and diverse training terrain to suit many disciplines. With the coast path on our doorstep there are varying levels of gruelling runs for you to choose from.

Similarly the coast road gives a quiet and cruel hilly option for cyclists. In our experience these local hills have put people in good stead for tackling some harsh events, Millook hill even has a race bike named after it !!.

Our new map wall will show you some great runs and cycle routes of varying levels.

Bude has an historic tidal sea pool located at Summerleaze beach. Bude Sea Pool is approximately 90metres long- this offers a great training pool and is located 1.8 miles from elements over the coastpath- so a great distance for a warm up run!

Bude Shoreline Triathlon in and around Bude is renowned as the best short course triathlon in the country- held in June/July annually- a great goal if you want your training to end with an event.

Nearby Tamar Lakes is a lovely location and offers plenty of activities to get involved in there are cycle routes from elements if you have your own bikes or use the hotels. Tamar Lakes offers coarse angling, sailing, dinghies, windsurfing, canoeing. With varying levels of courses to either improve skills or for beginners or just for a peaceful retreat it's worth a visit.
