Well autumn is upon us and Cornwall has been lucky to have received some amazing weather. The sun has been shining and the surf has been firing keeping lots of walkers and surfers happy. It's a fantastic time of year to get out and about in Cornwall. Elements hotel is open all winter this year. The bistro is open to the public 5 nights (from Tuesday to Saturday) plus Mondays for our residents. This New Years Eve, elements bistro will be open. We will be serving our bistro winter menu with some very funky little specials but taking table bookings as normal. So if you fancy a quick bite early before heading out to a party or settling into a fantastic meal and a bottle of wine with friends and family for the night then please give us a call. We will be doing Christmas parties again throughout the festive season, if you would like to see our Christmas menu please just give us a call and we will forward one to you. In 2010 we will be catering for more weddings and functions due to popular demand and following some thoroughly successful events, we are just putting together a wedding and functions pack and this will be available through our website very soon. Walking Breaks in North Cornwall For those of you who love north Cornwall and fancy staying in a beautiful 300 year old holiday cottage on the cliffs at St Gennys, just south of Widemouth Bay, then we've got just the place. Cleave Farm Cottages have an amazing secluded location at the end of a mile long drive, with the coast path running right through the farm itself. Available to rent both by the week and, from 1st January 2010 they will be offering inclusive walking breaks. The walking breaks will be available Monday-Thursday or Friday to Monday. You arrive at your holiday cottage and you will be provided with your breakfast, packed lunch's and evening meals delivered ready or put in your oven. The log burner will be lit for your return from the days walking and they will drive you to a drop off/pick up point for your days walking on the coast path. Let Cleave Farm Cottages look after you. You come and enjoy walking the fantastic north Cornwall coast and then return, put your feet up in front of the fire and wait for the dinner to finish cooking...sounds like heaven eh! For a complete car free break, why not fly into Newquay airport frmo where we will pick you up/drop you back (airport 35 minutes away, small charge applies for this service).
